CAPRICE enters the Chinese market via Internet giant Alibaba

The German shoe manufacturer CAPRICE now also offers its shoes in China. After months of successful testing “Tmall” has launched CAPRICE as a new footwear brand on their site. As a part of the Alibaba Group “Tmall” is one of the biggest e-commerce websites worldwide for name brand products.

CAPRICE CEO Jürgen Cölsch visited the headquarters of the Internet giant in Hangzhou for the official launch. “There are over 800 million internet users in China. With the fashion platform from Alibaba, we have found the best way to make our products available to the Chinese nationwide“ explained Jürgen Cölsch.

During first live comments, Chinese customers praised the fit and leather quality of the selected CAPRICE models.
