HOTTER CEO WINS INSPIRING WOMAN AWARD

Hotter CEO Sara Prowse has been named winner of the Business Award in the North West’s 26th Annual Inspiring Women Awards.

“Sara was recognised for her dynamic business background and career within retail,” said Jacqueline Hughes-Lundy, Award Founder. “At Hotter in particular we wanted to recognise her approach to staff progress and development within the business.

“These awards have reflected the talent, ambition and selfless spirit of the women in our region, inspiring us with their stories and providing positive role models for the next generation for the past 26 years,” she added. “They have stood the test of time because at their heart is the desire to find and recognise those women who inspire us.”

Sky Sports presenter, Angela Powers interviewed the finalists at the lunch in the Midland Hotel allowing them to share their own stories in their own words. The winners were announced by a trio of guests: broadcaster Andy Crane; Patchwork Pate Founder, Margaret Carter and Alice Barry, who everyone recognised from her days as Lillian in Shameless.

Two new categories for 2018 reflected the centenary celebrations of the Suffragette movement, with the 100 Award and the Founder of the awards, Jacqueline Hughes-Lundy’s homage to her own role model, her Mum, Constance.
