For our customer, an international acting shoe producer we are looking for the above mentioned candidate. The ideal candidate has a background in the shoe and leather goods industry and a wide experience. The shoes are produced in Southern and Eastern Europe to a very high quality level.
Your profile and the job
You are educated in shoe-technique
You have a minimum of 5 years experience in production and/or sourcing
You have excellent communication skils
You have the ability to present information in a clear way to all levels within the organisation
Demonstrated knowledge in the shoe industry
You know the different suppliers in Southern and Eastern Europe
You understand the various technologies of shoe production
You are familar with supply chain principles
Work closely with product development on new products
You lead negotiations with the existing and new supplies
You can deliver best value including quality and price
Travel up to 50% in of the time in Europe to fulfill the responsibilities of this position
Very good communication in German is a must
English is absolutely necessary
Spanish/Italian would be a plus
Your base should be in Southern Germany
The company is offering an equivalent salar with bonus and company car also for private use.
