CocoRose London's stand, became a mecca for shoe lovers as the young business showed exactly why its first few months have been such a success. The Cocktails in the Boudoir range were displayed alongside the current, exquisite satin ballerina collection and buyers could also check out some of the 2009 shoes, including one style targeted at the wedding market.
Cocktails in the Boudoir is a sexy range that raises the bar when it comes to foldable shoes. It further communicates the high quality and attention to detail that underpinned CocoRose London's launch collection and will give ladies suffering high heel hell even more reason to swap stilettos or wedges for comfortable, stylish CocoRose London flats.
These are shoes with sole and lots of attitude. They provide wearers with the chance to show just the right amount of toe cleavage and come in designs to suit everyone from the energetic and on trend party animal, to the fashion conscious business executive.
I loved the packaging - the shoes are cleverly housed within a discrete, zipped, soft leather purse and are simply unfolded when the owner wishes to slip into something more comfortable to offer their feet some welcome relief. The purse then converts into a larger bag, complete with shoulder strap, so the heels can be easily carried, or hung up in a cloakroom.
Buyers have a number of order options, designed to cater for every retail outlet from the independent boutique to the large high street store. A core collection of shoes consists of five exciting colours and fabrics, each oozing sensuality and decadence, whether the choice is Midnight Galaxy (black and silver), Ruby Sunset (shimmering red), Black Ice (black), Amethyst Royale (purple and gold) or The Fireball (grey zebra print with accents of red).
There are a further five lush and vibrant styles in the Cocktails in the Boudoir range. These epitomise autumn and the Christmas party season and are named Black Velvet, Purple Princess, Pomegranate Passion (pink and gold), Star Dust (black with gold flecks) and Gold Dust (sparkling gold).
CocoRose London's founder, Janan Leo, says: "We used the opportunities created by the Autumn Fair to create a stir with Cocktails in the Boudoir. To date, we have retailed our fabulous shoes online and at the edgy, young designer focused Brick Lane Market and we have whipped up a lot of interest in the brand.
We now feel it is time for us to retail through boutiques and stores, as our customer feedback is superb and we know we can add value to any retail offer. We expect to talk to a lot of buyers and are sure they will be impressed with our sexy and glamorous shoes."
