FOOTASYLUM is mad for K3
Published:  01 May, 2007

Didcot, 11th April 2007 FOOTASYLUM, a fast-growing chain of high-end casual footwear and apparel retail stores, has commissioned K3 to design and implement an entire suite of retail management solutions based on Microsoft Dynamics.

FOOTASYLUM began with one store running on a small-business point of sale that gave the company limited visibility and reporting into stock in store and warehouse. With ambitious plans to grow the business during the next three to five years, FOOTASYLUM, now with seven stores, chose K3 to provide it with a system that could manage a growing business and be easy to use and maintain for its small IT team.

FOOTASYLUM will be using Microsoft Dynamics’ in the stores for point of sale and in-store back office, and in the head office for merchandising, warehousing and financials. The whole solution will go live in May of this year.

Peter Atkinson, Operations Director of FOOTASYLUM, said, "Retailers need slick IT and Supply chain solutions and FOOTASYLUM is no exception to this. Dynamics is an end to end solution which will be a key element within the overall operation.

He added, "The reporting tools in Microsoft Dynamics will enable us to manage our stocks at the lowest level enabling us to respond very quickly to store and regional variances.

Paul Makin, Sales Director of K3, said, "the owners of FOOTASYLUM were attracted by our expertise in fashion retailing, our can do attitude and the fact that they were already familiar with Microsoft technologies."
