Chic returns this January to The Ricoh Arena Coventry (which is on junction 3 of the M6 motorway), where will see all the biggest names in the Luggage and handbag industry as well as a fantastic collection of key jewellery, scarf, glove, umbrella, hat and shoe brands.

The unique difference at Chic is that it is the only fashion trade event that takes place at the beginning of the retail selling season… Now more than ever, it makes sense to buy stock as you need it.

As a Chic buyer you benefit from being able to replenish the specific product areas that are running low in your store: taking the guess work out of buying ahead, buying emerging trends that have evolved since the start of the wholesale buying season, and find products that you will not see at any other UK show.

If you are a fashion buyer you will be aware that key trends evolve very quickly. Most UK fashion fairs (where it is necessary to forward order for the next season) are nearly two months prior to the international handbag events like Mipel where the hottest styles, colours and textures are revealed. Chic is actually four months later for the Spring / Summer 2010 season during which time the final themes may have changed significantly.

In fact serious fashion buyers should consider Chic their mid season flash in order to stay firmly on-trend. It is also ideally timed to place top-up orders for the collections that have already started to sell through strongly.

Chic welcomes buyers with a relaxed informal buying environment where you can find all your favourite fashion accessory brands, all together in one large hall. The show is easy to get to from any part of the UK and Ireland being located just two junctions form the NEC on the M6 motorway. Free parking is provided directly outside the entrance; for visitors arriving by air or rail, Chic has organised a free shuttle service from Birmingham International airport / railway station, adjacent to the NEC.
