Authentic all the way for Van Dal in AW10

Norwich based Van Dal footwear is leading the way in AW10 with a collection of four authentic themes aimed at bringing comfort to recession hit women. In AW09 the British manufacturer launched ion-mask, a revolutionary nano technology which repels dirt and water, in its Van Dal TLC collection.

There is a hint of western in ‘Rawhide’, a homage to Van Dal’s own history of fine shoe making in ‘Heritage’ , a softer return to the authentic femininity of ‘Ribbons & Bows’ and the ultimate in winter comfort with ‘Arctic Chic’.

ARTIC CHIC Drawing on folk style embroidery with butt seam details, contrast stitch and subtle metal trim there is authenticity in abundance. Equally, feature materials such as Italian full grains and premium shearling combine to ensure that the arctic story is no fake. Arctic is designed to keep you snug, comfortable and looking good so styles in this collection feature ion-mask™ repellent protection, V-FIT+ removable footbeds and underfoot comfort. SITKA TLC and KODIAK TLC being highlights.

RAWHIDE In Rawhide we see a strong influence from the western, cowboy look. Gorgeous casual leathers in black, chestnut calf and stone amalfi are irresistible in pure western and everyday styles. Equally, with a combination of leather veneered heels and flexible TR outsoles there is quality and comfort as standard. Again Van Dal embellish the collection with added value elements such as Contourex memofoam, underfoot comfort and amazing ion-mask™ repellent protection.

RIBBONS & BOWS The return of a ‘make do and mend’ attitude and haberdashery inspired looks has seen fashion seek out influence in authentic styling.
