The London based Swedish creator of the brand Moccis, Anna Wetterlin, realised whilst being an agent for Scandinavian kid brands that the UK had not yet discovered what every mum in Sweden can't get enough of: Swedish made moccasins!
Anna put her fashion background to good use and started designing a collection that her daughter would enjoy. She wanted to design a moccasin that children would pick before any other shoe or sock and in Winter 2008 Moccis launched its first collection. Moccis are now available worldwide and whoever buys a pair seem to be coming back for more. You simply get hooked on Moccis!
In order to ensure the best possible quality Moccis are made in Sweden of natural ecotex certified materials. The leather sole is durable and flexible, allowing the foot to move freely. The moccasin has double elastic at the ankle which will prevent it from falling off.
Each pair of Moccis are made by hand with delicate hand stitching in the only moccasin factory in Sweden. A very small traditional factory with most employees having worked there for generations. It’s very important for the community that it stays open as most factories are closing down due to cheap mass production in Asia.
