GOURMET - Autumn/Winter 2010...

Published:  12 May, 2010

For AW10 Gourmet have introduced a number of new styles in addition to changes to existing core products. The iconic 'Quadici' has been de-specified allowing the price point to drop from £180 to £120. Originally crafted from Italian leather and leather laces sourced from the USA, the shoe is now made in Asia with local materials matched to the same quality spec. This trend has followed across the collection with an overall reduction in price as a reaction to the current pattern of lower price points in the footwear market. With a more accessible product the brand's reach has Widen, currently stocking to 60 retailers for the 22 styles enclosed.

Alongside these changes Gourmet continue to source luxury materials from some of the world's finest tanneries including the Gustave Degermann Tannery, originators of the epi leather and current suppliers to Louis Vuitton, Chloe and Dior. The full grain pebbled 'Sharky' leather features on the newly introduced '26' and the long hair full grain 'Hariy' suede on the 'Diciotto', originally used on a number of classic sports shoes.

Retail prices for gourmet aw10 start at £95.
