EMU Australia naturally colourful

 EMU Australia, the genuine Australian sheepskin and wool specialist, launch their colourful 2011 Fall collection for the Northern Hemisphere in one of Australia’s most exotic locations Port Douglas.In 2011 the very popular EMU Stinger style, which was a hit with celebrities and EMU lovers around the world will be available in ten new fashion colours including bright aubergine, beautiful indigo, natural dusty olive, earthy hazelnut, trendy putty and this season’s must have colour mushroom.

“We really wanted to extend the boundaries with colour in this collection with our inspiration coming from the intricate colour palettes of the vast Australian landscape,” says Australian based designer Morgan Bridgeford.

As well as the addition of new colours to the Fall range, EMU has included a number of key new styles including the Melba and Hobart. The Melba is a luxurious and stylish ankle boot with a cute button detail, and the Hobart is a fashionable sheepskin boot in a low height, finished with stunning vintage brown leather outer.

EMU remain true to their heritage by expanding their premium fashion footwear collection, incorporating a number of new natural colours into their new Fall range. Made from the finest Australian sheepskin, the Merrijig Hi available in black, and the Caloundra boot available in chestnut and charcoal, are two of the gorgeous new styles available for Fall as well as the Hyde Hi, a stylishly sleek slouch boot made from the softest leather.

Other bestselling EMU styles including the Angels Lo and Alba, will now be available in rich chestnut, stylish charcoal and this seasons must have fashion colour mushroom.


 

 


Building on the success of last year’s EMU apparel and accessories range, the 2011 collection has been fashioned using cutting edge wool and sheepskin production techniques. With the final result a beautiful range of Australian sheepskin jackets, luxurious knits and stylish accessories.

Key product categories in the new apparel collection include the double-faced sheepskin nappa outerwear and Australian Merino wool knitwear. Gorgeous key items include the Mt Beauty Jacket – a hooded jacket which features a flattering a symmetrical front opening with a gorgeous draping neckline, the St. Helens Vest which is featured in mushroom, the Bremer Bay Jacket, the Gypsy Point Knit Jacket. Perhaps however the most exciting innovation of all for EMU is the release of the stylish wool denim Valla Beach Jean. Made from lightweight woven merino the Valla Beach Jean is the first wool denim fashion jean of its kind. 

The EMU Fall 2011 campaign was photographed in Australia’s rugged Alpine High Country where snow covered peaks dominant the horizon of the camera lens. The new campaign showcases the durability and water repellent features of sheepskin in one of the harshest environments, the Australian snow.  The colourful Fall 2011 collection will be on display at leading International trade shows between January & March in 2011.
