Redfoot – the innovative folding shoe brand – has been awarded a Disney Halo for best experiential product for their Disney Limited Edition range. Over 200 guests, including Dragon’s Den celebrity James Caan, beat the blizzard to attend Disney’s annual ceremony held at London’s Vinopolis in December 2010.

Launched in August, Redfoot collaborated with brand giant Disney, to create a stylish range of kooky, retro ballet pumps aimed at Disney devotees, young and old. Designed around the iconic Minnie Mouse portrait, the range uses stunning embellishments and luxe fabrics such as diamante, burnished studs and sparkly suede to create the cool collectables.
Disney judged the nominees - which included Boot’s Mini Mouse Toiletry range and Kenkro organic snacks – on criteria which included: value for money, value added to Disney’s identity, quality and innovation. Redfoot’s Disney Limited Edition range was chosen to win because of the product’s luxuriousness, stylish and innovative design – Redfoot pumps can be folded into a tiny pouch, perfect for popping in a handbag – and affordable price point. Redfoot’s widespread appeal to women of all ages and it’s international patent were also praised.
