The event was attended by over 400 specially invited guests from all over the world including close friends and business associates of the well established Global brand. A spectacular fashion and dance show was the climax to this extraordinary evening that will undoubtedly reverberate around the Industry for many years to come!

Frank comments “HI-TEC is extremely proud of our heritage and business foundations. We are a dedicated and passionate Brand who refuses to sit still and rest on our laurels. We must be adaptable, moving with the trends and ensure, for the better of our Company, that the Global Product Development and Marketing teams, whose main brief is to drive our brand forward, are presented with a highly creative and inspirational working environment in a central and easily accessible location.”

Heading up the relocation, is Ed van Wezel, Frank’s son and Hi-Tec’s new CEO.

Martin Binnendijk, formally European Chief Executive, will be the group’s new Chief Finance Officer. This position was previously held by Bob Kaiser who has been announced with immediate effect as the Chief Executive of MAGNUM USA in Modesto, California. Meanwhile Hi-Tec USA has relocated to Portland, Oregon under CEO Bill Berta. Ian Cameron, previously UK Sales Director, has been announced as Hi-Tec UK’s Managing Director effective as of January 2011.

The move comes as an extremely integral time for the brand whose consumer launch of a new brand philosophy, “Inspired by Life”, was also unveiled in January.

Immediately following the opening Hi-Tec held its Spring / Summer 2012 Collections launch with delegates attending from the Company’s Subsidiaries, Distributors and relevant Sales Teams from over 80 countries worldwide. The ranges presented were the first complete collection developed by Hi-Tec’s new Creative Director Charles Willis and his Global Product Development team.  Initial reaction has been nothing short of outstanding and will be on display at the forthcoming Friedrichshafen Outdoors Show this July.
