HOWZAT? – ROYAL NAVY CRICKET TEAM HITSOUT FOR SIX ABOARD HMS WESTMINSTER

To launch Kiwi’s sponsorship of the Royal Navy Cricket team, the squad have donned their cricket gear and boarded HMS Westminster in Portsmouth for a good old game of British cricket. The friendly match was a warm up for the Inter Services Twenty20 (IST20) tournament which will take place at the prestigious Lord’s cricket ground on Tuesday 28 June.

The Royal Navy will compete against the Royal Air Force and the Army to retain the title of IST20 champions. Said Libby Williams, Marketing Manager of Kiwi: “We’re proud to help our heroes shine and look forward to seeing them hopefully retain the IST20 cup this year.”Money raised as a result of the IST20 tournament will be donated to The Royal British Legion and Help for Heroes to help provide both financial and emotional support for the Armed Forces and their families.
