For Spring/Summer 2012 Anatomic & Co. the ever innovative Brazilian leather footwear brand is launching a bigger and more exciting range than ever

Published:  13 July, 2011

The new collection is all about daring to try new concepts, new shapes and taking risks. The adventurous brand is bringing out lots of new designs including flip-flops, sandals, moccasins, new sole constructions and exciting colour options.

The Men’s range will be wider than ever with lots of new designs added. The brand has put more emphasis on seasonal pieces but still keeps its timeless core collection and everyone’s favourite best-sellers. Anatomic & Co. compiled the Spring/Summer 2012 men’s collection along four themes. The first inspiration was men’s lightweight footwear; the brand is introducing boat shoes with thinner contrasting soles, suede moccasins, and driving shoes with punched leathers for the warmer weather. It is also bringing out sandals and flip-flops but staying true to its traditions, Anatomic & Co. made sure its signature comfort features are present in each one of these potential summer hits. Moema Pimentel, Creative Director says "It is very important to recognise what our customers are looking for and to offer a shoe for every moment of their lives. The previous season we introduced warm lining and waterproof shoes and boots and this season we can definitely say that Anatomic & Co. is a brand that understands men and wants to be part of their lives; smart to casual, beach holiday to hiking, we want to be there and offer the most comfortable footwear!"

The third topic to explore was a range of gorgeous suede leathers in lots of summery colours: greens, greys, mustards, and blues. The styles here include desert boots and moccasins designed to appeal to the trendier and younger market. For the returning customers who focus on comfort and prefer more traditional shapes Anatomic & Co. developed a new sole unit with air bubble heel cushioning, taking comfort to the next level. "We are extremely conscious about comfort;" says Managing Director, Joao Conrado "if the customer puts their hands in the shoes we know that the deal is closed and the sale is made. We invest in

research and technology and we are very proud to be referred to as one of the most comfortable footwear brands."

Anatomic & Co. also offers a new ladies range; the Spring/Summer 2012 collection will be smaller in terms of available styles but will explore a whole new range of colour and material options. The main colours will be whites and nude colours: beige, salmon and terracotta but one will find animal prints, textured and metallic leathers. Apart from rubber soled shoes the brand will also present leather soled moccasins and sandals for those who look for something more seasonal.

Anatomic & Co. is the 3

rd

bestselling brand of Mainstream Men’s Footwear on the Drapers Magazine’s Indicator for 2010 and is expected to grow by 30% in 2012. Anatomic & Co. shoes are available in over 60 countries, from Europe to Asia, the Middle East, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, the USA, South America and China.
