Introducing Innovative Move Frame Technology for UK Consumers - UK, August 26, 2011 – PROSPECS, the sports lifestyle brand of LS Networks, Korea, announces the showcase of its dedicated walking shoe line, PROSPECS W at the Korean Brands Exhibition, Harrods, London 28th August – 24th September 2011. Designed for the unique stresses and impact of walking, the PROSPECS W line departs from standard running shoes to enhance walking-based exercise and bring added comfort and support though its unique Move Frame Technology.
For the first time in the UK, consumers will have access to the PROSPECS W line that accommodates both serious power walkers and beginners. W Power is designed to propel a wearer’s walking speed and thus maximize exercise efficiency. W Comfort is recommended for light walkers and power walking starters who want springy and comfortable steps.

PROSPECS W has 32 individual frame bars that actively react to each step with segmented power bearing and cushioning to induce more natural walking. The unique cushioning system of PROSPECS W includes an under-frame midsole to absorb secondary shock, and distinct from running shoes, the cushioned impact zone is designed for the specific stresses of walking. A recent consumer survey by advertising agency LG Ad, showed that PROSPECS W outranked Nike, Adidas and Reebok as the top walking shoe brand in Korea.
In an age of heighted awareness of health and increasingly sedentary lifestyles, the need for a dedicated walking shoe is greater than ever. PROSPECS W was conceived based on medical opinions that walking is one of the most effective exercises, and walking at a speed of 3.5 mph consumes more calories than running. Additionally, because walking is less intensive than running, it can be enjoyed by all, including seniors, children and overweight participants who cannot handle physically demanding exercise.
In addition to its walking shoe line, PROSPECS also has a range of running shoes, hiking shoes and specialized shoes for pregnant women, which it plans to introduce to the UK market in the future.
