Barely half way through this Summer our thoughts turn once again, to next Spring and Summer, as we all head off to the NEC for Moda in August. There we will meet up with Customers, Suppliers, Friends and Rivals, have a drink maybe, pay a fortune for an NEC sandwich, oh and buy or sell shoes.
Comfort Plus, as stalwarts of MODA, could be forgiven for being a bit blazé about the whole thing but when you visit their offices before the show there is a real buzz and excitement about the place, as the final touches are put to their collection.
Designs are checked against confirmation samples, lasts are checked and fit tests are carried out. Months of design, sourcing and development culminates with the 3 days of the show when the team get to show the fruits of their labours.
