UGG® AUSTRALIA OPENS FIRST KNIGHTSBRIDGE FLAGSHIP STORE

Joining luxury department stores Harrods and Harvey Nichols as well as top British fashion houses such as Burberry and Mulberry, UGG® Australia will open a flagship store on Brompton Road, Knightsbridge on Friday, 4 November 2011. UGG® Australia, Knightsbridge will carry the brand’s complete range of footwear collections along with handbags, outerwear, and cold weather accessories from the autumn 2011 collection, ranging from classic styles to high-fashion footwear for women, men and children. The store will also carry the new UGG® COLLECTION, an exclusive luxe capsule collection, representing the brand’s first venture into high fashion couture footwear and handbags, all handcrafted in Italy using the finest leathers and materials. The UGG® COLLECTION is inspired by ‘Italian Rugged Luxe’ and captures the essence of the history of fine craftsmanship and superior materials for which the country is known. The Knightsbridge store will also launch UGG® Australia’s Holiday 2011 Collection on 21 November, featuring everything from luxurious brushed leather styles to playful neon sparkles.

UGG® Australia, Knightsbridge will be the brand’s fourth standalone store in Europe and represents a global expansion. Other key store locations include; New York, Shanghai, Los Angeles and Moscow. Designed to incorporate a colour scheme of rich, tactile tones, soft materials, and sheepskin accents, the atmosphere will create the most luxurious of shopping experiences. The store has been designed by Anthony Donnelly of UK based Visualworks and the space constitutes 88.32 square meters.
