GDS confirms dates for 2012 - Surveys being conducted re future GDS dates

Next year GDS - International Event for Shoes & Accessories – and GLOBAL SHOES – leading trade show for sourcing – will be held from 14 to 16 March and from 5 to 7 September 2012. For the dates from 2013 various surveys are currently being conducted at home and abroad in order to identify visitors’ and exhibitors’ views and wishes.

All survey results will be evaluated over the next four weeks and the results will then be discussed at the GDS Advisory Board meeting.

Explaining the procedures Kirstin Deutelmoser, Director of GDS and GLOBAL SHOES, said: “We are currently looking at the GDS dates from 2013. The various surveys conducted in trade and industry provide us with important indications that we will consider in our decision making.”
