New high tech functional footwear label

Splats is a brand new high tech functional footwear label with an urban twist. Launching in February 2012 with rainSplats – these ‘go to’ boots are waterproof, breathable and flexible making them ideal for Spring showers, Summer rain and Autumn downpours. Unlike Wellies that are clumsy, unsupportive and hard to wear all day, rainSplats have a form fitting insole and adjustable Velcro strap allowing kids to run, jump, climb, cycle, scoot and splash without fear of water running into their boots.

rainSplats come in 5 vibrant colours with high visibility reflective detail, low profile non-slip sole and a waterproof breathable membrane. They are light weight, squashable and easy to pack away for camping, festivals or days out.

Available in Hot Pink, Retro Red, Ocean Blue, Grass Green and Classic Navy in UK junior sizes 8-1.

Designed from a mum’s perspective to give kids the freedom to enjoy their world whatever the weather.

Background

Created by Rainbow and Amy; 2 North London mums who, with 6 kids between them, felt that wellies were a big fat fail for modern kids. Invented 150 years ago for farmers, wellies to this day remain clumsy, bulky and ill-fitting. Given that nearly 90% of us now live in cities and experience year round mild, wet weather, it’s time waterproof footwear evolved to meet the demands of modern urban kids.
