Richter autumn/winter collection 2012

Published:  25 January, 2012

The Richter autumn/winter collection 2012 features diverse colour shades, which offer excellent options for combinations. Intensive natural colours such as copper, honey and camel harmonize with accentuated colours such as terracotta, ochre and olive. The extensive colour palette ranges from cool colours such as grey, atlantic, cobalt blue and violet to warmer shades such as aubergine, port, petrol, blackberry and dusky pink. The children’s shoes collection, of course, would not be complete without bright colours such as fuchsia, orange, turquoise, apple and red.

The fashion trends are pointing more and more towards individuality – what you wear expresses who you are. This development has also caught up with our line of children’s shoe fashion. We cater to the individual wishes of our customers and offer a great variety of materials, colours and cuts, in order to offer every child the opportunity of finding his or her own style.

During these times, it is important for shoe producers to be trendsetters – not followers. You cannot focus exclusively on a single theme, but must rather be open for new ideas in order to be able to offer a broad range of products.

General economic trends also influence fashion. On the one hand, this creates reduced, clear designs and cuts; on the other hand, the current situation makes people more aware of the value of old traditions. Craftsmanship is once again in demand, and clothing items are worn in ever new combinations, decorated with personalised elements. Accessories and creative solutions are in great demand.

In the autumn/winter season 2012, Richter models therefore feature materials such as knitted fabrics and felt, leather labels, rivets and quilting seams. Some of the shoes are even decorated with elaborate embroidery. Prints remain in high demand and are often used to make a model stand out in the crowd.

A reflection on what is natural becomes more and more important. High-quality, unadulterated materials are consciously chosen.

In our autumn/winter models, oiled leather and robust materials meet fur and woollen accents, turning each and every shoe into a real winter highlight.

The smaller girls need not fear that they will have to do without rhinestones and flowery applications during the autumn/winter of 2012. Despite all the details, the shoes retain a very harmonic look, thanks to careful coordination of colours and design elements.

For the larger sizes, a stronger emphasis was placed on a reduced, more feminine look. And the cuts no longer appear chld-like.

In the autumn/winter collection 2012, different types of soles and bootleg heights play an important role among the girls’ models.

Even boys’ models are designed to appear more grown up and manly. With their robust materials and rustic design elements, Richter’s boys’ shoes feature a particularly casual, stylish appearance.

And the boys now no longer need to opt for traditional colours for the individual models either. Shoes with bright colour accents and even entirely colourful shoes are no longer a rarity these days, and have therefore become an important component of the

Richter collection. Inspired by current lifestyle trends, Richter’s autumn/winter collection 2012 has its finger firmly on the pulse of the time.

Apart from the aspect of fashion, children’s shoes must also always be functional. This applies in particular during the autumn and winter, when functionality becomes a prerequisite for many models. Richter snow boots are therefore equipped with protective rubber caps and feature robust soles with sufficient grip, offering a secure hold and ample flexibility.

But despite their high degree of functionality, Richter snow boots are no less fashionable than the rest of the collection, effectively turning a functional item into a fashion item.

The fashion theme Outdoor and Sport continue to dominate the autumn/winter 2012 collection. We are aware of our responsibility as a company with international operations and therefore use the high-quality Sympatex® membrane for the production of our shoes. This membrane is 100 % wind and water proof and offers excellent breathability, ensuring that children’s feet stay comfortably warm and dry – no matter what the weather.

Due to its composition, the Sympatex® membrane is the only brand membrane, which is 100 % recyclable. It consists of no more than oxygen, carbon and hydrogen and avoids poisonous substances such as PTFE (polytetrafluorethylene) or fluorocarbon. The membrane fulfils the requirements of Öko-Tex-Standard 100, is bluesign® certified and thus meets the strictest regulations regarding protection of the environment, health and safety.
