The WSA ShowTM
Offers retailers the first peek at the global footwear marketplace, under one roof

The WSA ShowTM will be the first peek for the world's retail buyers to see the new Spring/Summer 08 footwear and accessories collections from all the hottest new global, designers and major brands. Taking place from 30 July - 1 August 07, at the Las Vegas Convention Centre, the show - which is now concentrated into three days and for the first time is located under one roof - is by far the largest footwear show in the world.

The WSA ShowTM offers international visitors access to top-level executives and designers from emerging names through to the largest global brands. With every lifestyle category and price band represented, it is the only show where exhibitors showcase their entire product ranges and lines. What's more, opening ahead of the all other shows, featuring exhibitors exclusive to The WSA ShowTM, plus educational seminars and a platform for networking on a truly global scale, it gives attendees a massive competitive edge.

Overseas attendance rose to 26.5% at the last show and the global outreach programme will continue to break into new retail segments across Europe, Russia and developing markets such as The Far East and South America. The WSA ShowTM retail relations team - in place to assist buyers in every aspect of their visit, from flight and hotel arrangements in conjunction with the official network of travel partners, to organising show itineraries, scheduling meetings with key executives in advance and arranging educational retail tours - has confirmed that early buyer registration has increased significantly. Several top French and German department store groups have registered to attend the show for the first time and many new high profile retailers from a host of other countries are set to attend.

“It is exciting to see the international footwear community coming together at The WSA ShowTM,” said Diane Stone, chief operating officer. “Buyers coming to Las Vegas can choose from more extensive lines, source new and different brands and take delivery up to seven weeks earlier than if they waited for the shows this Fall in Europe. Buyers from around the world who have attended The WSA ShowTM report it offers a fresh take on the market, the opportunity to build relationships that really matter, to gain marketing ideas and benefit from an insight into US retailing, that just isn't possible anywhere else.”

Visitors can preview the hottest styles from all categories of footwear at the spectacular live runway event - Style Walk. When the doors to The WSA ShowTM open they reveal the latest designs across all categories and price-points from the 1,600 exhibitors, showcasing over 6,000 brands. A Style Walk Lounge has been introduced to the show for the first time, where the most exciting collections will be revealed and live fashion presentations will be staged in an area designed for visitor networking.

The Collections at WSATM - the luxury and designer footwear and fashion accessories event, running alongside The WSA ShowTM - will also open on 30 July and continue for an extra day, until 2 August. This offers buyers an additional day to dedicate to the luxury footwear and accessories sector in the suites and ballrooms at The Venetian.
