DKM, the children's brand which forms part of the Josef Seibel Group, is proud to launch its new spring 2008 collection of sandals, shoes and canvas for girls and boys. This season’s range aptly reflects the evolution of the brand.
The spring 2008 range is the eagerly awaited first collection under the management of Peter Sixt who was appointed as DKM product manager earlier this year. A well known expert in the children's footwear industry, Peter has trained with the best, including Gabor, the Freudenberg Group (Elefanten) as well as the Shoe & Shirt Production Group (Richter). His knowledge of the world markets and years of product experience means Sixt will be working closely with the sales management team in Trier and the UK and Ireland to continue the success of the DKM brand.
Peter brings with him a wealth of knowledge which he will use to build upon the heritage, quality and fitting of the DKM brand. By responding to the increasing demands for fashionable influences upon children's footwear and the provision of a comprehensive range of product for girls and boys, the Seibel Group aims to drive pairage growth and brand awareness for DKM.
Strong organisation and preparation has resulted in relevant and more fashion influenced product delivered timeously to the market place. The strong European influence of the brand provides a point of difference, whilst working with the UK and Irish markets has resulted in the incorporation of practical elements the range required.
The collection for both girls and boys offers infants through to seniors, high quality footwear at competitive prices. Investment in new soles and lasts alongside existing successful product provides a comprehensive brand offering. The invigorating spring 2008 range sees greater attention to durable leathers and relevant colours for the market, including refreshing pinks and blues alongside browns and naturals.
With distribution by Josef Seibel in the UK and Ireland, the support function in Norwich is tried and tested, invoicing is in sterling to avoid exchange fluctuations being passed onto the customer in the future, this coupled with strong margins all combine for a healthy proposition to the retailer.
With a growing quality customer base, inspiring new designs and a heritage in shoe making, now is the time to grasp the opportunity DKM offers - styled for children, shaped for parents.
DKM is presented alongside Romika at MODA Footwear, Stand FK8 and GDS, Hall 12, Stand D25. For further details on DKM in the UK and Ireland, please contact Josef Seibel UK Ltd on 01603 307860 or email enquiries@josefseibel.co.uk
