Barker's response to the continued consumer demand for comfort and flexibility is the combination of a removable cushioned footbed with a new lightweight leisure sole unit. This concept affords supreme underfoot comfort and features in the new collection of moccasins that offers material options of suede, nubuck and soft calf leathers in seasonal colours.
Cool comfort is created for the more formal styles by incorporating genuine woven leathers and fine perforations, with quality burnished calf.
Classic styles are given their Barker identity with the innovative design touch of slipbeaded tramline seams and the debut of a welted leather sole with an attractive rubber insert for durability.
A new elongated last is the perfect shape for styles combining contemporary punching, fine stitching and lightweight cemented leather sole.
International styling trends influence a collection of high grade formal welts and the longer fronted last is ideal for the introduction of distinctive new punch and toe cap design.
Additional development includes new styling in the Young Design, Rubber Soled Casual, Sandal and Driving Shoe Collections.
