Eurotech Leisure Limited part of the Euromark Group of companies announces a management restructure which brings founder and major shareholder Tim Roberts back as Managing Director of the UK arm of the business. Duncan Sutton moves back to the head office in Poland to become Group Procurement Director with overall responsibility for the development and procurement of product for the group's widening portfolio of brands.
Eurotech owner of the successful Khyam brand acquired both the Wynnster brand and distribution rights of the Karrimor brand in October 2006.
In this time there have been many changes. The company suffered significant problems integrating the distribution channels in to an outside logistics company in the West Midlands whilst at the same time consolidating the computer inventory and sales control systems in to one operation. This has led to delays and reduced service to its customers.
Tim Roberts commented: 'the outside logistics company were a root cause of many problems suffered by Eurotech since the start of the year'. 'We have let down our customers and whilst my staff have soldiered through it is a disheartening process to have witnessed. It has all come at a critical time. Changes will take place to correct these problems permanently but in the middle of the summer season for our customers it is clearly not the time to carry out major changes'.
