The Off-Price Show, the leading event for low-tomid priced fashion is launching a special “Footwear Focus” at the Autumn 2007 edition of the show (September 16th & 17th, Olympia, London). Show Director Buzz Carter said "We have been building footwear at the Off-Price Show for a couple of years now, and we have seen demand increasing from both specialist footwear buyers as well as fashion retailers wishing to increase their range of merchandise.
Also this year saw the demise of the London Footwear show which has left exhibiting companies and buyers with few options. At the same time we have been very successfully promoting the show and building our buyer database throughout Europe and eastern Europe and at the last show a quarter of all visitors to the show were from abroad. Our existing footwear exhibitors find this very exciting as it has led to many new international accounts being opened as a direct result of contacts made at the show. Now it is time to expand - to encourage more of the footwear community to take advantage of the show we are launching a special “Footwear Focus” at the Autumn event, together with specific footwear marketing and a special awareness campaign to both large and smaller buyers in the marketplace. We also will be featuring a footwear expert in our seminar programme, advising retailers of top tips to observe when sourcing and buying footwear.
"Visitors to the show can expect an extensive showing of fashion, sports and leisure footwear from imported famous brands to value-priced unbranded ranges. As always the accent will be on price and there will be clearance lines on offer alongside current stock, at mouthwatering prices and iimmediate delivery."
