Burlington Arcade is a fitting home for the new flagship store of renowned designer, Beatrix Ong. A connoisseur of her art, trained under the master Jimmy Choo, she has been named one of the world’s 10 leading shoe designers. Her bijoux boutique, opening in October, will feature a beautiful central chandelier, spiral staircase and serve cakes and tea to bridal and private clients of her beautiful footwear.
The Burlington Arcade opened in 1819, as London’s first shopping arcade. Currently undergoing a multi-million pound refurbishment, is maintaining its reputation as London’s finest collection of luxury accessories - reflected by the exciting new mix of shops. In addition to the arrival of Beatrix Ong other openings include parisian tearoom Laduree, a revamped N. Peal with Sara Berman at the creative helm, museum quality objets d’art from Antique Enamel and stunning wristwear from Vintage Omega.
Beatrix Ong leaves Primrose Hill after 3 beautiful years to tread alongside other leading players in the West End. Retreat from the flurry and din of the city to step inside the boutique and discover a sense of calm that flows through the elegant space. The new luxurious store will be a reflection of Beatrix’s free spirit and love of all things bright and beautiful. Exclusive, limited edition styles will sit alongside the main season’s collection within the relaxed and charming surroundings of the ground floor. Brides-to-be and private clients will be led up a fine staircase to reach the enchanting salon on the upper floor where not only exquisite shoes tempt and seduce, tea and cakes will also be served to satisfy the other senses.
