The Society of shoe fitters announced the winner of the, Fisher George Memorial Trophy for Student of the Year in November to Charlotte Duffett of Gibbs of Ely, Cambridgeshire.   Charlotte is the youngest winner of the prestigious award. Charlotte has worked at Gibbs (a chain of family shoe shops owned by Kate Gibb) since leaving school seven years ago and works as Assistant Manager of the Ely store.
