After the success of its September edition, MICAM SHOEVENT, the most prestigious international show for high, medium-high and medium level footwear, is ready to open its doors at Fiera Milano Rho. From 15 to 18 March 2007, it will be presenting collections for autumn/winter 2007/2008.
Backed by the excellent results of past performances, which posted increases in both number of visitors and attendance by foreign operators, the latest event promises to further confirm this growth. There will be 1,654 exhibitors with over 2000 collections and an ever-growing waiting list. On the one hand the spaces available, but above all a decision to maintain the event’s standards of quality and improved accessibility, have excluded an increase in the number of companies or expansion of the show. The exhibition area already covers a surface area of 73,181 square metres, hosting an important number of foreign companies – 530 in total. Exhibitors from abroad will as usual be showing alongside 1124 of the top Italian footwear manufacturers. Based on the last edition’s great popularity with visitors, organisers expect to see over 40,000 specialist operators at this appointment, for whom MICAM is the ideal opportunity for programming purchases. An international event, MICAM once again prepares to amaze with quality collections featuring high creative content, attention paid to detail and design products that interpret and anticipate contemporary fashions and trends.
