Roelof de Leeuw was appointed sales director for Crocs Europe in December. Roelof will take over the position of European Sales Director from Ortwin Dellevoet, who will now manage the Ocean Minded Business Unit.
Roelof (40) has over 14 years experience as a sales, export and marketing manager which will prove invaluable at his new position at Crocs. Lately he was the European Managing Director at GMBI Europe B.V.
Commenting on his appointment, Roelof said: ‘I am really looking forward to this new challenge. Crocs have achieved phenomenal growth in the last few years and now I will be part of this success story'.
In 1993 Roelof was Export Manager at Robey Sportswear (now Falcon Sportswear). After posts at Unisto International and Vriesco International he was Sales Director at Joint Service International for five years.
Commenting on Roelof's appointment, Dick Wijsman , Crocs Europe Managing Director said: ‘We are very pleased to have Roelof on board. His vast experience in sales in the European markets will prove very valuable at Crocs.
