Gola Classics launches new ad campaign

Gola Classics, the original British sports brand, has developed a stunning new advertising campaign for 2008.  The nostalgic new campaign depicts a sweet jar full of brightly coloured Gola trainers, accompanied by the tag line ‘Classics. With a twist'.

The four new executions developed by Manchester based Dinosaur, takes Gola in a fresh direction from previous campaigns and are set to launch across a selection of style and music titles such as Vice & NME, together with some viral activity and in-store POS. 

Commenting on the new ad campaign Donna Hill, PR & marketing manager, stated: "The concept takes a step back to the days when newsagents were on every corner and all kids wanted was a quarter of cola cubes from the many rows of delectable sweeties in jars. The new creative is both fun and colourful and the tagline ‘Classics. With a twist' reflects Gola's ethos of drawing on its vast sporting heritage for inspiration, whilst applying modern day interpretations, which are at the height of fashion."
