Eurostop, a leading supplier of retail management and EPOS solutions for the fashion, footwear and general merchandise sector has opened a new office in Shanghai, China. Ms. Hew Poh Yin has been appointed Managing Director for Eurostop's China Operations. Her extensive network of connections has already enabled Eurostop to establish partnerships with other companies operating in the region, including JDA Software.
Poh Yin has 18 years experience in the Retail IT industry in China. Before joining Eurostop Poh Yin was the senior vice president for Homeworld (now known
as CRC), the largest hypermarket retailer in China, where she managed a team of 270 people in the IT department. Prior to this, Poh Yin worked for over ten years at JDA Software as a project manager.
Poh Yin is currently working with the Eurostop team in London to translate and modify the company's products so that they are suitable for the Chinese market.
On joining Eurostop Poh Yin commented, "I am pleased to be joining Eurostop at this very exciting time for the company. The market for Retail IT systems in China is huge and I am looking forward to using my experience and contacts to help Eurostop expand rapidly in this arena."
