Buyers benefit from synergies between Premier KIDS and Spring Fair

From 2009, Premier KIDS will take place 1-3 February (Hall 16), alongside Spring Fair 1-5 February 2009, NEC.

Buyers attending Premier KIDS and Spring Fair at the NEC will welcome the decision of the shared date-line, allowing them to fully profit from the strong synergies; delivering more opportunities and a bigger offer from the two influential UK shows during the vital trading period. Premier KIDS, will sustain its well-established fashion identity alongside Spring Fair, and its exhibitors will see new heights as they partake in Spring Fair's substantial marketing campaign. 

Alison Jackson, MD of Emap TPS, organiser across both events adds; -we are delighted to co-locate these two dynamic events. There is a clear synergy and crossover with Premier KIDS for gift, toy & lifestyle retailers seeking contemporary

childrenswear, accessories and gifts. The show brands compliment each other and we expect both suppliers and buyers to benefit from the additional sourcing opportunities.

The new date alignment is responding to market feedback, which strongly indicates exhibitors and buyers welcome the change, and predict the move will improve their business: Lisa Jones, Buyer at Hoopers concluded; -one trip rather than two is definitely something I would support, as it would definitely be easier for me.

Exhibitor Jackie Crocker from Bobux; It enables buyers to attend two key shows in just one date-line, and the move shows great consideration for buyers and visitors alike who are time restricted and incapable of visiting the two shows sequentially. Key buyers from Greater London will find more reasons for visiting, being able to skip across from one to the other, which will also increase the overall footfall. I'm positive that a joined date-line will accommodate our clients well and have a positive effect on our business.

Exhibitor Sandra Woods from Steiff clothing; -a joined date-line for Premier KIDS and Spring Fair would improve quality, increase footfall, by exposing Premier KIDS to a wider audience. Baby-wear is a key market for us and buyers frequently express apprehension of covering the two separate events in a short interim, being time consuming and costly. Premier KIDS is the best shopping window for us to meet our existing and new clients and having Spring Fair on the doorstep is a positive move that would strengthen our business further.

The NEXT edition of Premier KIDS takes place 6-8 July 2008, NEC, Birmingham
