High performance slippers
Published:  20 June, 2008

The word ‘slipper' is recorded in the English language as far back as 1478, deriving from the much older verb ‘to slip', the notion being that footwear is "slipped" onto the foot.

Everyone loves their slippers or houseshoes - at the end of a long day, it's a lovely feeling to slip into something that feels warm, cosy and comfortable.

Increasingly however, consumer demand dictates that the slipper should be more than just a cosy slip-on. The modern day houseshoe needs to look good, feel comfortable and cushioned, have a non-slip sole that can be worn outdoors, be washable and above all be value for money.

The Padders' ladies and men's slippers perform highly on all counts and with their innovative memory foam insoles, that shape to the contours of your feet to help reduce painful pressure points - they really deliver a slipper that everyone wants to wear.
