Top brands head to moda
Published:  08 August, 2008

Ranked number one fashion trade event in the UK*, Moda once again breathes new life into the halls this season with a raft of new brands and ideas for today's fashion retailer. Its diverse and inspiring line up sees new collections in all sectors: footwear, accessories, womenswear and menswear. New arrivals in womenswear head to the NEC from across the globe, with first-time exhibitors ranging from America's Tiffany Prom through to the brand new womenswear line from Ireland's finest Magee.

Collections taking part for the first time this August include Seidensticker, Fueolita of Spain, America's Christine Alexander and Art Couture. They will be joined by returning favourites including Alice Collins, Ann Balon, Bernshaw, Euen Klein, Frank Saul, Frank Usher, Gardeur, Godske, James Lakeland, Pause Café, Satsuma, Seasalt, Steilmann, Michel Ambers, Pomodoro, Setter, Linea Rafaelli and some 800 more.

New for this season, Moda Accessories will see its most significant move to date with a dedicated Accessories section located in Hall 18. This re-zoning will not only help navigation of the larger event and help accessories specialists find what they are looking for easily, but it will also allow buyers to view accessories alongside current clothing trends detailed in the menswear and womenswear sections of the show. Brands new to Moda Accessories this season include Prickly Pear, Noeoli Italia, Oceana 2, Dicristina, George Stuart and J.Bees Millinery. They'll be showing alongside regular exhibitors such as About Face, Barbara Easton, Dante, Dents, Fabio Dericci, Gaby's, The Hat Studio, Topazglow, Smith & Canova, Mint, Menbur, Passigatti, Ruby Rockit and Zuekoo to name a few.

Retailers will also find fantastic new women's footwear collections to add to their clothing and accessory offer, with new arrival Jessica Simpson footwear stepping over from across the pond. Jessica Simpson will show for the first time at Moda Footwear alongside fellow US brands BCB, Max Azria and Vince Camuto Signature. Also taking part for the first time are Kadam, Dick Boons, Romilly Jane, Softwaves and Palladium showing alongside ladies favourites Bourne, Bronx, Crocs, Hispanitas, J Shoes, Hush Puppies, Lotus, Menbur, PERtu and Ravel.

New arrival men's footwear brand Lambretta will join Moda for the first time this August.
