Celebrating ten years in fashion, Pure enters its 20th season this month to bring a buying event packed with autumn/winter 07/08 womenswear and accessory brands, exclusive free trend presentations and inspiring catwalk shows. Plus short order collections for s/s 07 are also available.
The distinguishing factor which makes Pure a must have British show to visit is the unique combination of hand picked brands and focused editing which creates a unique buying show.
Pure will be jam-packed with over 800 a/w 07/08 directional and young creative brands, with an entire floor dedicated to accessories and footwear.
Pure Footwear
Bourne unveils an exciting autumn/winter collection consisting of a range of exquisite sandals, court shoes, shoeboots, ankle and knee boots. The prevailing theme for this range are "gothic" with a contemporary twist alongside red carpet glamour, the collection is both sophisticated and luxurious.
Celia Marco, a controversial and original designer has always brought some fun to the stands of Pure with her collections, including last years Unknown Pleasures collection which was influenced by bands such as the smashing Pumpkins and The Cure. Her latest collection is set to be as exciting as the previous.
Design are made in Italy and represent great fashion content and excellent value. This fab range of women’s boots and ankle boots encapsulate styles that would be great for day wear, casual wear to dressy fashion.
The renowned Fly London are back with a vengeance at this season’s Pure, the new autumn/winter collection takes you on a 20th century memory lane adventure-20s cute round toe and thicker heels, 30s glam trims, 40s platforms and wedges and British eighties rockers. French billboard colours and girly accents give a fresh feminine style.
Minna Parikka shoes and bags are another firm favourite at the show; described as "ginger-bread edged femininity with an extra spoonful of sweetness" this range certainly looks set to wow buyers at the event.
Superga will be showing funky Lame sneakers in silver and gold as well as bright colours of suede, leather and coated canvas.
Pure Accessories Jewellery
The accessories section of this months Pure features many new and exciting brands for your perusal in the jewellery sector. Artwear Dimitradus produces products of opulence and eclecticism while jewellery brands such as Benor is inspired by mountainous magical nature.
Azuni is one brand to look out for with their new "Rock Gods and Divas" collections of jewellery and accessories this season and Butler and Wilson present yet another r range if semi precious, diamante jewellery, handbags and designer wear.
H&W by Hendrikka Waage is an Icelandic inspired collection of stylish, eye catching jewellery in sterling silver and multi coloured zirconia stones.
Jamie Jewellery by Jamie Rubin, a sought after brand with a celebrity following is another big brand to hit the stands of Pure. This is certainly one to watch.
Handbags
Favourites of Footwear Today include Lucy J with her own distinctive print handbag designs, this season she introduces her trademark florals at Pure.
Maze are newcomers to Pure and they launch a comprehensive range of handbags, luggage and accessories in vibrant colours that are both contemporary and classic.
Jonny Loves Rosie introduce some gorgeous handbags, hairwear and jewellery inspired by 18th century Dutch still life paintings.
Hats and Scarves
We look out for Shirley Pinder's eclectic collection of scarves, wraps and throws gives a new twist to traditional Scottish textiles and Peter Bettley, Luxury, feminine and elegant - smaller shapes such as berets, pillboxes and feathered fascinators are key. Fabrics are rich velvets, satins, lace and finest felt. Larger brims have a gentler silhouette with softer, rounded crowns and shallow brims.
