At present the UK is a member of the EU. But on 29 March 2019 this will change. However, what is unknown is what will follow in place of the EU single market in which fashion businesses currently operate.

Despite the uncertainty which exists at present (and which will continue unless a transitional agreement with the EU is put in place), there are certain steps which fashion companies can and should be doing as a result of Brexit.

Download our new publication in PDF format, A guide to Brexit for the UK fashion industry. It is based on the stated intentions of the UK Government as at 1 September 2017. The final section, Practical steps for businesses, includes specific points for fashion businesses to consider now.

Please call or email your regular contact within our Fashion Law Group to discuss how we can help you at this time of Brexit uncertainty.
