Appeal from Phillip Marsh, Managing Director, Chatham 2014 The Challenges

As I am sure many of you know the past 4 months have been some of the hardest me and my family have ever hadto endure. Unfortunately on the 5th October Henry my 3 year old contacted Ecoli and disease called HUS which attacks our Kidneys, Stomach and Brain. Henry was admitted to Bristol Children’s Hospital on the 11th October and was in a coma for 6 weeks. Nearly 4 months later there has been little improvement and we await a move to a Neuro rehab centre where Henry can start some kind of rehabilitation to prepare him and us for his return home in 6-12 months. I have decided to raise some money for 2 charities, The Wallace and Gromit Grand Appeal and The Ronald McDonald House Bristol, without these charities I don’t know how we could have got through this terrible ordeal.

My first event is on the 15th March 10K Rock Solid www.rocksolidrace.com/escot-park. As you all know I am not the fittest but have started training with a personal trainer twice a week to make sure I take this event and all the events I am planning are taken as seriously as possible. Please have a look at my Just Giving page, I would be grateful of any sponsorship no matter how little, it might just make the difference to someone’s life.

please feel free to pass this onto anyone you know that might want to support me the more I raise the better.

Thanks in advance for all your support.

Best Personal Wishes
