Bernard O’Brien wins the International Golf Championship of the Shoe & Leather Allied Trades for the second year running.
Friday 13th June, The Belfry Golf Resort in Warwickshire. Bernard O’Brien, footwear retailer from Tuam, County Galway in Ireland received the “The News Bowl” as winner of the International Golf Championship of the Shoe Leather & Allied Trades, from President Gordon Wilson, having successfully defended the title he won in Southport last year. This has never been done before in the 69 years of the event since 1946. Well done Bernard!
