Big brands back new footwear trade show

As trading conditions continue to get tougher, increasingly more brands are looking for more efficient ways to showcase their ranges. New footwear trade show, Sole Fashion, answers the demand for a better return on investment and is attracting some of the industry’s biggest names.

Cost-effective format

Responding to the industry’s call for a two-day event, Sole Fashion runs from 9am to 6pm on Sunday 16th and Monday 17th February 2020. Held at the prestigious Ricoh Arena in Coventry, it provides a competitive price for a high-quality venue in an easy-to-reach location.

Steve Ryrie, commercial director of The Florida Group Ltd, says: “Following the acquisition of Padders, The Florida Group now has an even larger portfolio of brands to offer. As a dedicated footwear show, Sole Fashion allows us to engage with new, as well as existing, customers with maximum efficiency. It therefore represents the best opportunity to promote Van Dal, Padders and Bearpaw.”

Attracting brands back to the UK trade show

Amongst the growing number of brands committed to Sole Fashion are firm favourites with UK and Irish retailers, and some have returned to showing at the UK trade show because Sole Fashion offers such an appealing proposition.

Martin Ingram, managing director for Josef Seibel UK Ltd, comments: “Sole fashion offers a great opportunity to refresh the industry’s trade event and to create some excitement within the sector. We are delighted to be returning to the UK trade show format.”

It’s one of the UK’s first event venues to get 5G connectivity and is home to Europe’s largest casino. There’s also a 4-star Double Tree by Hilton hotel at the complex and around 65 hotels in the area.

The Ericsson Exhibition Hall at Ricoh Arena will allow all footwear brands to show in one space, providing a pleasant setting that’s easy to navigate. And a complimentary breakfast will be available to visitors and exhibitors on open days to encourage early attendance and help everyone maximise their time.
