As part of the Berlin Fashion Week, the Marcel Ostertag X Tamaris show of the spring/ summer collection 2019 took place on the rooftop of the luxury hotel, Westin Grand“, on July 4, 2018. The new collection “Muse“ evokes the desire for summer with a colourful variety of fresh colours, while opulence and playful fringe and bow details remind us of the seventies.
Marcel Ostertag takes us on a journey that describes the close relationship between him and his muses in bright colours. It‘s about more than inspiration – it‘s about a thank you that the designer wants to say to all creative sources. Sources from which he repeatedly draws creativity and inspiration.
His muses have also inspired him to the attention to detail and colourfulness of the new Marcel Ostertag X Tamaris models of the spring/summer season 2019. The new collection lets us walk across a floral rainbow: From yellow, lilac and light blue to pink and coral tones, there are no limits to the variety of colours. The models cover the entire product range: bootees, sneakers, mules and pumps made of high-quality genuine leather are skilfully staged to create the looks.
The special features are the details, such as pink gold buckles, matching bows or brave fringes. Iris flowers
not only cover the clothing, but also create an exciting all-over look with floral prints on bootees. The
popular signature piece, the acrylic heel, was taken up again in this collection and becomes an absolute
eye-catcher in combination with feminine shoe models.
The spring/summer collection by Marcel Ostertag X Tamaris will be launched on the market with around
20 models in the price ranges from 59.95 to 110 euros, with closed models available from February 2019
and open models from March 2019.
