The international shoe manufacturer CAPRICE has converted its shoe factory in shoe town Pirmasens, Germany, to the manufacturing of protective face masks. This important supply began several weeks ago to initially support care homes.

The company has now decided to manufacture masks for its retail partners too. In the coming weeks, all CAPRICE retailers and business partners in the UK will receive several high-quality fashionable cotton face masks which are both machine and hand washable. The material used is obtained from a locally sourced, ethical supplier.

“In these times of great uncertainty, we at CAPRICE all agree that the safety and well-being of our families, colleagues, customers, partners and our many friends who make up the dynamic CAPRICE family are our top priority” says Jürgen Cölsch, CEO of CAPRICE
International.

“For 30 years, our customers have relied on us when choosing our suppliers and business
partners. Given the current difficult situation, we would like to send them with a small gesture of gratitude” adds Jürgen Cölsch.

In the past weeks, CAPRICE together with the brands of the Wortmann Group have presented a multi-million dollar Coronavirus support package for their trading partners, which contains ten points that focus primarily on liquidity and direct earnings improvements for retailers.
