Charity announced for 2017 Footwear Industry Awards

myeloma-logo-cmyk-for-printSimon Baker, area sales manager at Skechers USA, won Personality of the Year at the 2016 Footwear Industry Awards. He has nominated Myeloma UK as the benefitting charity for the 2017 awards.

Registered as a charity in 1997, Myeloma UK is the only organisation in the UK focused on myeloma. It helps myeloma patients live longer and gain a better quality of life by accelerating the discovery, development and access to new treatments, while helping patients and their families cope with everything a diagnosis of myeloma brings.

Nominations are open for the Footwear Industry Awards 2017. Organised by Datateam Business Media for the industry, the awards are now in their sixth year, and are known throughout the industry for their focus on independent retailers as well as global footwear brands.

Brands, retailers and industry members can nominate themselves or others in this prestigious awards programme, designed to recognise and reward excellence in the footwear trade. CLICK HERE to self-nominate or to nominate a brand or retailer you know.
