Now in its fifth year, the Footwear Industry Awards 2016 is returning on Sunday 21st February, so save the date! So far, the event is looking to be as exciting as ever!

Entries for the awards are now open! Start lining up your window displays for the National Shop Front of the Year, polish your best shoes for Footwear Brand of the Year and crack out the cheesy jokes for Personality of the Year.

Winning an award is a great opportunity to raise the profile of your business and stimulate market interest. Join the ranks among the greats, with previous winners including Comfort/Wellness Footwear Brand of the Year 2014- Hush Puppies, Fashion Brand of the Year 2015 – Skechers, and Children’s Brand of the Year 2015- Pediped. 2016 also brings a new retail category into the running, The Fashion Independent Retailer of the Year, as a new opportunity to promote the hard work and effort of retailers.The entry/nomination stage is well established using a secure online nomination and voting process. Five finalists are produced in each category with the winners being those who have attracted the most votes overall.

The National Shop Front of the Year Award is also returning! Launched in 2014, this award in particular is designed to reward the creative efforts of independent retailers. The FIA team knows that designing and organising a perfect window display often goes unappreciated; and the skill, dedication and vast amounts of effort involved deserve to be recognised. Only the great, the stunning, and jaw-dropping shop window can drive footfall and increase consumer interest, which is why we love this award.

Returning Sponsors

The Footwear Industry Awards recognise those in the industry who display innovation and forward thinking, alongside traditional sales and business acumen. Organised by Datateam Business Media for the industry, with the support of the British Footwear Association (BFA), the Independent Footwear Retailer’s Association (IFRA), Society of Shoe Fitters (SSF) and Footwear Today, the event is always a night to enjoy and remember.
