Footwear Friends, the footwear industry charity, is once again holding its Annual Awards evening on the 9 th October 2019 at a new venue. The Crypt on the Green at Clerkenwell Green is situated underneath St. James’s Church, Clerkenwell and dates back to 1792.
The Awards are aimed at helping young footwear entrepreneurs who are developing or launching their business. The Awards include both financial support and mentoring from industry experts.
Due to the generosity of supporters of Footwear Friends, this year we will be presenting three awards, sponsored by the Worshipful Company of Cordwainers, Micro-Pak Limited and the British Footwear Association.
Designs from the applicants will be on show at the event and anyone coming will see at first hand some of the work from British designers around at the moment.
