Our Customer
For our customer, a well-known company with different brands based in Western Europe, we are looking for the above mentioned candidate.
The company is producing fashionable women shoes in high quantities in a middle price level. The production plants are mostly in Asia. To ensure a seamless link and flow between the product management, the design department and the production we need a quite experienced sourcing specialist.
The company holds in Asia also an office with capable designers and developers.
The sourcing department will be reorganized and looks for an already established employee with good knowledge in shoes. The candidate will report directly to the managing board.

Sourcing of all relevant materials
Excellent networker with a working address book
Successful buyer worldwide
Focus Asia
Excellent negotiation skills
Minimum 7-10 years of experience in a similar position
Excellent technical understanding
Thorough understanding of the production process from design to production
Able to deal with big quantities
Multicultural attitude
Fluent in English
Other languages would be a plus
Able to travel
