Today the Mercers’ estate announces that the luxury British footwear and handbag retailer, Russell and Bromley, will be launching a new 3,461 sq ft London store at 107 Long Acre, Covent Garden, this autumn.

Luxury accessories brand Russell and Bromley, owned by the Bromley family, is synonymous with expert craftsmanship and fashion-led design. This relocation to a new West End site, at the junction of Long Acre and Neal Street, is part of the brand’s development plans for the UK. Designed by an in-house team/ agency, the store includes a 1,630 sq ft lower ground floor and an 1,841 sq ft ground floor, which will showcase the brand’s exclusive and hand-crafted Italian-made products for men and women.

Simon Taylor, Property Director of The Mercers’ Company commented on the new signing: “Russell and Bromley is a well-established and luxury brand and we are pleased to be able to provide them with this prime retail space set in the heart of Covent Garden. They join a line-up of vibrant new retailers on Long Acre, all benefitting from the high footfall we welcome year on year.”

Andrew Bromley, owner of Russell and Bromley, added: “Our new store had to be in a prominent location within Covent Garden and this corner unit, directly opposite the tube station, was an opportunity we had to secure. The plan is to launch to the public this autumn and this larger space will provide a great backdrop for our new seasons’ collections.”

This news follows the recent launch of the Boots concept store, adjacent to Russell and Bromley, whilst street footwear label, Vans, is set to launch later this summer on Neal Street. Stance has also officially signed for a permanent lease at 3 Neal Street.
