Sara Prowse will be stepping down from the role of Chief Executive at Hotter after three years of
leading the business on the transformation of its product, brand, culture and infrastructure.
“I’m very sad to be leaving. Hotter is a great business and the brand has huge potential domestically
and internationally,” commented Sara. “I am leaving in the knowledge that the business is set up
well to compete in what is going to be a continued challenging retail market.”
Ian Watson will become Hotter’s new Chief Executive at the beginning of March. Ian joins from Start-
Rite, which he has led since 2016 and where, under his leadership, the brand has developed a strong
strategic plan to transform its products, processes and people. Prior to this Ian was European
Managing Director of German manufacturer Britax Childcare.
