A very merry Christmas and happy, healthy and prosperous New Year to all our trade friends! Just to remind you that National Shoe Fitting Week commences 28th March so a good time to make plans and resolutions!
We hope everyone in the industry will join in with us to celebrate this event – member or not! The public needs to be aware of the importance of shoe fitting and with so many independents closing their doors; professional shoe fitting is not as available as it used to be. Bearing in mind only a third of the population can readily find shoes to comfortably fit, it is vital to keep as many doors open as we can. Even if you are a big multi-national, you will still benefit from promoting the message. Don’t forget…if ‘indies’ disappear so will many suppliers!
The College of Podiatry are once again endorsing the National Shoe Fitting Week event and we are also working closely with other health professional organisations.
We have a poster freely available and we can forward you artwork with our compliments – as well as press releases etc., so do go to our website and download – simply look for the National Shoe Fitting Week page. We are pleased to announce to S.S.F. members that they will additionally receive a free pack of helpful new Showcards to educate and inform their customers.
