As Specialist Technical Instructor in Fashion Footwear, you will be responsible for providing technical support and advice across a number of leather, stitch, pattern making and moulding processes.
You will have significant specialist knowledge in processes, techniques and skills relating to the subject of men’s & women’s Footwear and their construction. You must be able to demonstrate these skills through a variety of inductions, masterclasses and the preparation of learning materials. The role includes taking responsibility for ordering specialist supplies and general day-to-day running of the studio and maintenance of equipment therein. You will be a confident communicator and demonstrator, with excellent problem solving skills. Experience of working in higher education, preferably with postgraduate students, would be an advantage.
