The next edition of Expo Riva Schuh & Gardabags is fast approaching, and will be held as an in-person event in Riva del Garda (Italy) from Saturday, 15 to Tuesday, 18 January 2022.

1.1.THE EVENT

The 96th edition of Expo Riva Schuh and the 7th edition of Gardabags are confirmed at the Riva del Garda Exhibition Centre (Trento – Italy) and at participating hotels from Saturday, 15 to Tuesday, 18 January 2022, with the following visiting hours:

Saturday 15, Sunday 16, Monday 17 January 2022, from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm

Tuesday 18 January 2022, from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm

 1.2 EXHIBITOR COMPANIES AND PRODUCTS

Expo Riva Schuh & Gardabags has been well-known for decades on the international trade fair scene as two exhibitions that showcase the best of the world’s production of footwear (men’s, women’s and children’s), leather goods and accessories.

Over 500 producers have already confirmed they will attend the show in person. These are from Italy, India, Turkey, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Brazil, France, the Netherlands, China, the UK, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Poland, Hong Kong, Belgium, Sweden, Taiwan, Bulgaria, Croatia, UAE, Albania, Austria, Greece, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Nepal, Romania, Russia, Slovakia and Thailand.

1.3 PLANNING AND BUSINESS

To optimise your visit to the show, here are some useful tips to help you prepare your trip:

Registration for the next edition of the show is free and active on this link.

Once you have registered (also available within the Visitors’ Reserved Area), you will receive your ticket immediately, and will be able to gain access to the show from 15 to 18 January 2022.

With a single registration, you will also sign up to the Digital Connection virtual experience.

Digital Connection is a virtual path running parallel to the show, based on an innovative digital platform active from 12 January to 28 February 2022. All information on Digital Connection is available here.

Digital Connection is also an app that can be downloaded from any marketplace simply by entering the name of the show, “Expo Riva Schuh”.

Digital Connection will contain the list of exhibitors and the catalogue of products exhibited at the show, as well as the entry ticket, the events programme, all logistical information and the business card of every visitor (which can be quickly and easily transferred via QR Code reader technology to exhibiting companies).

1.4 A COVID-FREE SHOW

Thanks to the high percentage of people vaccinated (over 87% of the total) and the constant observance of the rules to contain the virus – the use of personal protective equipment, social distancing and the use of effective sanitation systems – Italy is now a safe destination.

In view of this, the Italian government has confirmed that economic activities – in particular trade shows – are operating properly and does not foresee closures. In order to deal with the possible evolution of the virus in Italy in the future, however, it has introduced a management model based on coloured zones/levels of criticality, with more or less stringent rules depending on the colour.

White Zone – very low level of contagion

Yellow Zone – low level of contagion

Orange Zone – medium level of contagion

Red Zone – high level of contagion

The town of Riva del Garda is located in the Autonomous Province of Trento, therefore in the WHITE zone. Trade shows in the white and yellow zones may be accessed using the Green Pass. In order to make it easier for non-vaccinated persons to obtain a Green Pass or as a precautionary solution, a Covid Test hub will be located at the entrance to the fairgrounds during the days of the event from 15 to 18 January 2022, for all those who wish to take a test before, during or after the show.
